Around the app

For consistency and legibility, every page of Tiro Pro sits in the same frame: a navigation header across the top containing the main feature tabs - Documents, Workflows, Agents and Discussions - an action bar beneath it, and the feature itself below that.

Each tab is a discrete workspace, designed to help you perform a specific type of work. By contrast, each item on the action bar brings up a modal overlay over your current tab without navigating away from it; as such, the action bar is intended to contain common controls you might reasonably expect to need from any tab.

Tabs may also optionally make use of sub-tabs to better organise content: Workflows, for example, has separate sub-tabs for Dynamic workflows, Flying minutes and Playbook reviews.

The header

The logo at the left takes you to the Documents page. The tabs sit beside it, and these controls sit at the right.

Control What it does
Notifications Opens your notifications. A badge on the bell shows how many are unread.
Documentation Opens this documentation in a new tab, at the section for the tab you are on.
Feedback Opens a window for sending us feedback. See Send feedback.
Theme Switches between light and dark. See Light and dark.
Menu Holds Switch team, where you belong to more than one, along with Settings and Sign out.

The feature tabs

The feature tabs are Documents, Workflows, Agents and Discussions. Which of these tabs are actually visible to you depends on how Tiro Pro is configured for your team, so your set may be shorter than this one.

The tab you are currently on is underlined. Click on a tab to navigate to the indicated page.

At a glance:

  • Documents — the team's document home: upload, organise, and act on your documents. Covered in Documents.
  • Workflows — leverage Tiro Pro's built-in workflows, and design and use your own Dynamic workflows. Covered in Workflows and Dynamic workflows.
  • Agents — create automations and monitor their output. Covered in Automation.
  • Discussions — perform freeform exploratory analysis on one document, or a complete suite of properly contextualised documents. Covered in Discussions.

The action bar

The action bar appears beneath the header on every tab, so its four document actions are always to hand when you need them.

Action What it opens
New Upload or create documents (including from a template) files.
Templates Manage your team's templates and the documents produced from them — see Templates.
Organise The team's document collections and tags.
Navigator A view of how your documents relate to one another.

Each item on the action bar can be individually hidden should you not require it: if your team doesn't work with templates, for instance, feel free to hide it.

Light and dark

The theme control switches the app between light and dark. Your choice is remembered, so the app comes back the way you left it. Until you have made a choice, Tiro Pro follows the existing setting on your device.

Switching team

Where you belong to more than one team, they are listed under Switch team in the menu. Where you belong to a single team, the Switch team section is hidden.

Send feedback

Select Feedback in the header. Type your feedback in the window that opens and select Submit. We appreciate and read all feedback, so please do share any thoughts you have on how Tiro Pro is performing.

Dismissable help tips

Help text appears in place throughout the app, and each piece can be dismissed once you no longer need it. To bring all of it back, select Reset all in the Help text block of your settings.
